# Enda O'Donoghue – Visual Artist

> Berlin-based Irish visual artist working at the intersection of digital imagery, photography and painting. Born in Ireland, based in Berlin.

## About

Enda O'Donoghue creates paintings that focus on found photographs subjected to a systematic, near-algorithmic process that mirrors digital image compression, deliberately open to error, misalignment and glitch. He also works in video and digital art. He maintains a studio at the Atelierhaus Mengerzeile, Berlin.

## Education

Degree in Painting, Limerick School of Art and Design. Masters in Interactive Media, University of Limerick.

## Exhibitions

Recent exhibitions include Mélange (Galerie Neurotitan, Berlin, 2024), Travels in Hyper Reality (Crane Visual, Cork, 2023), and Tondo (Kunstquartier Bethanien, Berlin, 2020). Previous venues include the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Torrance Art Museum California, Sam and Adele Golden Gallery New York, and Overgaden Institute for Contemporary Art Copenhagen. Solo exhibition at Limerick City Gallery of Art (2012). Golden Foundation Residency, New York State (2014).
